Merrimack Valley Dive Rescue is active in the community. We have presented our programs as part of many community sponsored activities and with various
organizations.

In December 2002, we responded to a local tragedy. As a result,
we have begun a new program to reinforce the dangers of venturing out onto the ice. Within two months of the tragedy we had taught over 4,500 school children in
several communities. To date, the number of students taught approaches 13,000.
